Portfolio Management Intern with OPIC’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer in Washington, DC
Interns serve as junior financial analysts and can be involved in all stages of monitoring a portfolio of small to large loans as part of a Project Team.
Interns may review financial statements, analyze models of projected project cash flows, research various policy issues, prepare country economic and political risk analyses, prepare credit reviews of outstanding loans and work with OPIC Investment Officers to review and monitor problem accounts.
Internships typically last 12 weeks in each of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
Open to graduate students.

Amanda Quiles is a Community Scholar and Thomas Hunter Honors Student at CUNY Hunter College. She is a junior majoring in history, determined to attend law school to study juvenile law. Amanda is committed to public service. As an undergraduate, she worked for the King’s County District Attorneys Office as a legal assistant. She currently interns at The Door, a center of alternatives for youth in need. With her career endeavors, Amanda hopes to raise more awareness on the issues young people face today, and continue efforts for rehabilitation. Along with her studies, Amanda pursues her passion for the arts; she dances ballet at Hunter and writes poetry.
